Practice Hints

There are plenty of good

hints on this page.

Please read them!!

Here is the practice wheel which

reminds you of the three main

parts to good practice.

If you do all three then the wheel

will roll forward - your skills

and enjoyment will get better.

If you miss one of them the

wheel will have a chunk missing

and therefore not roll

forward. Your skill and

enjoyment won't increase.

This is the main booklet of hints.

Here are the practice hints we use

during lessons. 3 or 4 times a year

we have a month where we

spend time talking about and

understanding practice hints.

Each week a student picks one

of these cards from the box on

the counter in the waiting room.

Then we spend 5 minutes talking

about the hint.

While his takes time from playing

and learning during the lesson

the student is getting more armed

to make quicker and better

progress with their practice

at home.

Remember the only way you will

improve is by practicing.

So better skills

makes for better results!!!
