Bands -

The bands (as they currently are) is shown towards the bottom of this page.

Rock bands perform Fri 24th July evening.

The venue is Shalom College performing arts precinct.

​

You will have to buy tickets for the performance – adults $5, children and concession $4. Performers don’t have to purchase a ticket. Tickets are available at the door that night.

Learning songs and rehearsals -

Students must be working very hard on their songs. They should be up to a very high standard by Mon 15th June.

At the moment it's all about private practice.

Soon we'll start having students in lessons together e.g. one week other band member will come to your lesson and then next week you'll come in someone else's lesson. These will start Mon 15th June.

The full band rehearsals will be decided upon soon.

The preferred plan is to hold rehearsals over the school holidays in June / July.

This would be 1 hour a day for the 5 days of either week depending on student availability.

 

The other plan is to rehearse on the 4 weekends before the eisteddfod.

 

Maybe some bands will do plan 1 and other bands will do plan 2.

 

Can you reply super soon which week of the school holidays you are available.

Fees -

There is a fee of $80 per student to participate. This covers the bands eisteddfod entry fee, teachers time for rehearsals and admin time. This is payable to me and can you please do that soon.
